What you do makes a difference,
and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”

~ Jane Goodall

I am an environmental educator currently working three different jobs: teaching 4K-8th grade students about the natural world in Wisconsin, working with educators  to develop energy literacy curriculum connections, and being our family manager.  I’m involved with the Sussex Green Team, which works to make sustainable practices visible in our community, and I enjoy hiking, reading, baking, backpacking and planning family trips to national parks and around the world!

I love books! Immersing myself in another reality for a while, exploring my own thoughts and reactions, learning from others to wrote to share their passions, and laughing out loud at people who are much funnier than me – It’s a great hobby to have. Click on the link below to see some of my favorites.

AND… I have begun to share this love with others in a new way – I wrote a book!    Check it out in the link below to read the backstory and see some of the illustrations by Mara C. Williams

(These are her honeybees behind the text!)
